Our philosophy
We believe inEvery child, every adult,
and the relationships
between them.
At Little Coasties Kindergarten we recognise the value of each child and adult at our centre, and believe in their potential to do great things in the future.
Together with our families, we recognise that the most important aspects of life and learning are relationships. Children develop a sense of belonging, self-esteem and a disposition for lifelong learning within a social context.
It is our aim to facilitate positive, trusting and meaningful relationships within an environment that encourages learning, development and positive life experiences.

Read our full philosophyOur goals
High quality care, in a home-like environment, built through warm interactions, consistency, andcontinuity of care.
We foster strong partnerships with families and develop caring relationships from the moment a child walks in the door, every day they're with us.
Our programs
A holistic approach,
learning through play.
At Little Coasties Kindergarten we practice a holistic approach to learning through play, supported by the Early Years Learning Framework. This Framework gives our Educators guidance in supporting learning in many ways, reflecting the needs, abilities and interests of every child.
We recognise that children across all age groups will grow and learn in different ways, and treat each and every child as a unique individual, so they can play, learn and grow alongside other children, Educators, their families, and the community.
We believe in a play-based learning curriculum, where children have the opportunity to learn and develop through play.
Stay connected
Kinderloop
Free for familiesWe document children's learning and share it directly with families via Kinderloop — an app on your phone or device, also accessible from your computer. It lets families and Educators connect learning at home with learning at preschool, and helps us observe development and set ongoing learning goals together.
Our policies
Regulated, reviewed,
and transparent.
Little Coasties Kindergarten is licensed by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). We adhere at all times to the Education and Care Services National Law (2012) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).
All staff conduct their daily practices in accordance with our centre policies and procedures, which are available in a policy folder in each room and in the parent information folder in the foyer. These policies cover every aspect of the centre's daily operations and are designed to protect children, families and staff. They are regularly reviewed and updated in conjunction with parents and staff.
